Product Details
XDOUBLE is a linear extruder designed for high-quality co-extruded products, combining two ingredient consistencies—one for the core and one for the outer layer. It’s perfect for combining creams and chocolates with pastes like almond, date, and protein, which can be covered, decorated, or eaten as-is.
A standout feature is its compatibility with tempering machines, allowing continuous tempering of co-extrusion fillings, a game-changer for the snack industry.
The machine uses customizable heads and an innovative continuous feeding system, injecting the filling through a gear pump and a patented internal duct system for double extrusion. The production process is fully adjustable for speed, format, and temperature, preventing hardening during breaks.
XDOUBLE uses temperature-controlled screw pumps to shape the mixture into the desired format. The compound is manually loaded into the hopper, and the tempering machine supplies the filling. The guillotine cutter allows for format, size, and weight customization, while the coating and cooling tunnel ensures a high-quality finish. It produces 100-120 kg per hour of co-extruded, coated, and cooled products, ready for packaging with the Selmi Flowpack WRAP 400 PLUS.
With an intuitive touchscreen display, the machine lets you easily select formats and adjust speed. The temperature-controlled aluminum plate allows both heated and refrigerated operation, with a built-in refrigeration unit for precise control.
XDOUBLE is easy to clean and sanitize, featuring removable screws and rollers for simple product changeovers and offering versatility for a variety of applications.
